For our client we are looking for a HR Leader Europe (m/f). The HR Leader is responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function for the European Division.

  • Lead role in Europe, supporting business areas and delivering the HR agenda via coaching and developing leaders
  • Support organizational effectiveness through developing and implementing HR strategy across business support areas
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies
  • Propose solutions, tools and strategies that foster positive, supportive working environments across all the countries
  • Control EMEA Compensation&Benefits strategy and local initiatives
  • Experience of leading on all HR areas to ensure the best for business support areas including reward, learning and development, talent acquisition, talent management, employee engagement, organization design and other business-enhancing HR initiatives
  • Implementation of new business models and working with greater flexibility in order to deliver organization priorities
  • Management of organizational development
  • Development of HR solutions to address strategic business needs
  • Realize a new enterprise-wide payroll program
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state labor laws and international labor standards related to benefits, policies, reporting, postings, etc.
  • Manage all partnerships with broker, vendors and consultants
  • Partners with the legal team to draft and revise local employee policies to ensure compliance with local labor law
  • Partners with our local HR practitioners and country office leadership in order to navigate and resolve sensitive and complex matters involving employees, consultants and stakeholders
  • Organization of business change activity within business support areas, assessing and addressing the people implications/impact of proposed changes
  • Keeping up to date with external trends and best practice to enhance the people processes of the organization

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Must have 5 -8 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Practical knowledge of employment law in Germany, Hungary, United Kingdom, other European countries
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization in a professional, articulate manner with experience working with multiple levels within an organization
  • Proven ability to multi-task, problem solve, and prioritize in a fast past environment
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently
  • Ability to travel and accommodate work hours for multiple time zones, within Europe
  • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
  • Has experience in and provides due diligence for M&A including appropriate guidance for successful integration
  • Previous experience in a global/multicultural environment
  • Experience working in matrixed structures
  • Personally credible and able to build strong relationships with all stakeholders
  • HR generalist expertise
  • Ability to translate business needs into executable actions
  • Strong coaching abilities to affect change and engender trust
  • Executive presence; developed interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Confidence to challenge ideas and resolve conflicts
  • English and German, ideally also French
  • Previous experience working across EMEA region
  • Ability to travel internationally
